Xmas Cards and Crackers

I Love My Bebunni!

Happy New Year!

This Christmas I used the Tonic Christmas Cracker & 3 Sentiment Die Set. They made the perfect Christmas Cracker. Why - because you can make as many as you like - use your own printed paper in the colour or design you require.

In the picture above I used just one sheet of heart paper and two small toppers from the Crafter's Companion Bebunni Lots of Love Papercraft Collection. Also some red rick-rack to decorate the edges with and some red organza ribbon. Most important do not forget your special gift inside the cracker before tying the last ribbon.

The two cards were also made from the same Bebunni Papercraft Collection. I used two large toppers and a sentiment from the collection. You will also need two 5'' x 5'' (127cm x 127cm) white cards 1 Scalloped Edged  and 1 Plain. 2 pieces of red cardstock 4 1/2'' x 4 1/2'' (11.5cm x 11.5cm), 1 piece of pink heart paper from the collection 4 1/4'' x 4 1/4'' (11cm x 11cm), 1 love strip from the collection 5'' x 1/4'' (12.5cm x 1cm.Two red ribbon bows, 14 red crystal sticker stones and small punched heart.

To make the top card (I love you). Get your pre-scored scalloped edged card and the I love you strip and place down the side of your card and glue into position - I cut off the silver edging as I found this too wide for my card. Next matt and layer the red card, pink heart paper and I love you topper onto your card. If you use a tape runner this normally gives you enough time to manoeuvre everything into position easily. Matt and layer your sentiment with the small piece of red card. When you are happy glue your sentiment into position at the top of your card. Add a red bow and your red crystals around the top and bottom edges. Finished!

To make the bottom card (You make my heart dance). Get your pre-scored plain white card. Matt and layer your red card and topper onto the white card. Cut out a small red heart and glue into position.Glue your bow onto the card and that's it.

If you are lucky to buy the CD aswell you can print off a matching insert with a lovely sentiment. These cards are just right for Valentine's Day!
