Easel Card

Easy Easel Card

To make this easy easel card exactly. You will need the Crafter's Companion Brambly Hedge Papercrafting Collection CD-Roms. I used Disc 1 Spring/Summer Collection. You will need to print out the design 1 elements of the easel card selection on disc 1. It consists of two sheets.

Sheet 1- is the base of your card which I mounted onto green Centura Pearl Card to give a firm base. You will need to cut out the base section and score along the two lines as indicated on the sheet.  Fold the scored lines. The longest section is the base of your card (see side profile of the card below).

Sheet 2- cut out all of the elements on this sheet.
Using a Die'sire Lace Border 8 die. Cut five border strips out of thin white card (150g)  I used my Grand Calibur die cutting and embossing machine to do this.
The sentiment on the card came from the same CD-Rom but from another project sheet I was working on earlier.
You will need 11 lime green pearls and 20 green gems.

To make up your card using the elements on sheet 2. Simply matt and layer your topper.  Edge the topper with the lace card strips. Cut out four corners from the left over pieces and glue in position. Attach the topper to your card base.
Add the tags, ribbon and sentiment to your card using foam pads and glue.
Add the pearls and gems to the lace border.
Using foam pads add the strip of pattern card to the base card and attach the lace border and gems.
Using one of the large round buttons on sheet 2 mount on a foam pad. This will become your card stopper for your easel card. Decorate accordingly. I used a medium and small  flower punch with a pearl in the centre.

Hope you enjoy making this card. Keep crafting and have fun!

Quick Card

What you will need to make this quick card :-

A sheet of turquoise & silver Centura Pearl Card
Design A from Spellbinders M-Bossabilities Reversible Embossing Folder EL-026
Grand Calibur Die Cutting Machine
Blue backing paper and a insert to match printed from Crafter's Companion paper crafting Cd-Rom 'Angelica & Friends' collection
Also blue roses and a blue bow
A topper & sentiment from the 'Angelica & Friends' card kit

Fold your turquoise card in half and trim it to measure 13cms x 18cms.
Take your backing paper (I actually printed on thin card as it was being embossed) into the embossing folder design A and run this through your Grand Calibur machine. Trim and place on the front of your card.
Take your topper next and use a piece of silver card to layer your topper on - fix onto your card using foam pads.
Add your sentiment using foam pads.
Next place your roses in position and your bow (you can use real paper flowers and a ribbon bow the choice is yours).
Place your printed insert into your card and then you are finished.
You could also make an envelope to match. Have fun!

Floral Gift Box

Hi Everyone this is my first blog ever so here goes....

I love flowers. Whether they are fresh or not.

To make this really useful box you will need the following:-

Two pieces of  Centura Pearl Card 18cms x 18cms in your own colour choice or pale pink. (You need one piece for the base and another for the lid).

A sheet of homemade paper in your own colour choice. I used a sheet of copier paper + my Luminarte sprays Poppy Red, Yellow Rose and Pearl Gold. I sprayed the sheet of paper with patches of colour then scrunched the paper and inked with Tim Holtz Barn Door Distress Ink.

Two sheets of paper from Crafter's Companion paper crafting Cd-Rom 'Angelica & Friends collection' in your own colour choice.

A die cutting machine - I used my Grand Calibur with the following dies:-.
LIT122 Kreaxions Flower Die + DS-ORNFL Die'sire Ornamental Flower Frame + First two dies from Spellbinders Grand Decorative Circles One.

I made my box by using Crafter's Companion Box Maker and followed their instructions. My final size of my box was 14cms x 14cms. I then cut out my shapes and layed them as shown above. I did put a black gem stone in the middle of my flower and added a few leaves from a previous project. I also added and piece of paper to match around my box but you could use ribbon instead. Make a nice label to match and I am sure you could fill your box with some goodies or you could make a card to match. Have fun!
