Floral Box Cards

Love Hunkydory's Card in a Box Kit

(from the 'Autumn Surprise' range)

Now Autumn is here many people are unwell - I know myself as I am just getting over a bad cold.  What a lovely surprise it would have been - if somebody had taken the time to make and sent me a lovely floral box card - with a 'get well soon' note inside. Of course you can send these floral box cards on anniversaries and birthdays too. Hospitals nowadays do not allow real flowers at the patients bedside - again our floral box card comes in handy to send to them.
The floral box cards come already on 300gsm foiled and die-cut sheets which makes putting them together a doddle. Hunkydory also supply their own instructions  on how to make the floral box cards up. Once you have made one floral box card it becomes a breeze.
The pack comes in four designs - as shown in the above picture - two of each design so you can make a total of eight floral box cards . The kit also has four sheets of 350gsm foilded and die-cut flowers and leaves. Two sheets of 220micron heavyweight acetate and eight large envelopes to send your finished cards in - see picture below.

As these floral box cards tend to have flappy sides - I made a ribbon with a bow to act as an added support to the box (see top centre floral box card). I also like my bling - so I added a few gem stones were appropriate.

Hope you enjoyed reading my blog - keep crafting!
